In 2010,Tongli devoloped his new patent"Elliptic Raceway Slewing Ring".After the slewing ring applied with elliptical raceway, its load capacity increases over 30%, and its service life doubled with the same diameter of the raceway and ball. And with the same load capacity, the diameter of the raceway can reduce 15%--30% (change by M/D/Fa), or the diameter of the ball can reduce 40%. As a result:
1.Under the same load capacity, it can save raw material over 20% and save procurement cost over 10%.
2.It has outstanding advantage in the occasion that the structure or the transport width is limited, such as automobile crane, pump truck, large-tonnage auto crane, and so on.
3.Especially, the single-row ball slewing ring with the same diameter which applied with elliptical raceway can substitute for the three-row roller slewing ring which diameter of the upper row roller is underΦ28; while the double-row eight point contact slewing ring which applied with elliptical raceway can substitute for the three-row roller slewing ring which diameter of the upper row roller is underΦ50.
